Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 : Review

Galaxy Ace S5830 is a bar form and black color combination Phone with a texture finishing in the back panel. This is one of the few android handsets that have a good display with capacitive touchscreen and a 5MP professional-grade camera. The phone also has proximity censor on the right up side.Extra grip is provided by the textured back and it keeps fingerprints and scratches well covered up. Some may find the knobbly texture a bit peculiar at first but it's not actually uncomfortable once you're used to it. Indeed, combined with its slightly smaller form factor, the Ace makes for a rather easy-to-handle phone.Other normal features like 3.5in screen, 800MHz CPU and a fully-fledged version of Android, it has all the essentials but can it trump all before it?
On and all a mid-range Android Froyo Smartphone at an affordable price.

Google Buy's IBM patents

It is confirmed by Google that it has added more IBM patents to its technology arsenal.
Google bought 188 patent and 29 patent application related to smart phones from IBM but did not disclose how much did they paid for it.
Google has become more defensive in it's patent portfolio with the intent to fight for the dominance in the rapidly growing smartphone market.
Due to growing market, technology giant's has made a habit of accusing one another with patent lawsuit. Apple has accused HTC and SAMSUNG using Google Andriod OS for infringing on apple held patents.
Google Android Platform has faced a barrage attacks from patent trolls and the rival players in the smartphone market. Google is also facing a battle with Oracle for java related patent in android OS. May be that would be a reason why Google is strengthening their patent portfolio which will enable them for a better future for the Android Market.
